How we helped Niko get more from their solar panels
We take pride in our client Niko, who is very committed to sustainability. They approached us with a request to expand their existing PV installation to generate even more green energy.
However, we didn't just want to simply add more solar panels. We also wanted to ensure that the existing installation was operating optimally. To achieve this, Hannes and Gijs conducted a thorough preliminary study and discovered ample room for improvement.
We began by optimizing the existing installation, resulting in Niko achieving a 33% increase in output and generating 49% more available space. This means they are less reliant on the grid and more self-sufficient.
With this enhanced capacity, they were even able to install additional solar panels, leading to further energy savings. The customer's Scope 2 emissions significantly decreased, as various processes and the charging of electric vehicles are now better supplied with locally produced energy.
