At Encon, we are convinced that sustainability is the only solution for long-term growth as a company. And sustainable growth has many facets:

• Lean operations: by creatively looking at opportunities for energy efficiency or renewable energy, significant cost savings can be realised.
• Customer centricity: consumers are increasingly looking for sustainable products and services.
• Employer branding: in this war for talent, employees also have a preference for a sustainable company.
• Profitable investments: banks are financing sustainable companies more often and more easily.
• Corporate governance: customers, consumers and governments are becoming increasingly demanding in terms of transparency, independence and responsibility.

We welcome master's theses from all faculties: any subject that shines a new light on sustainability has the potential to help make the (business) world more sustainable. Our jury will be composed of experts from different business domains, in order to best assess the potential impact of each research project.
