The greening of the economy will create a “boom” in a short period of time within the renewable energy market. At the same time the latest IPCC report is extremely clear in its message. If we do nothing to combat global warming the consequences will be catastrophic, even in Belgium. Conserving energy will play a crucial role in counteracting global warming and meeting climate targets. Saving energy will no longer be an option, but an absolute necessity.

The average office employee loses an average of 86 minutes a day to distractions. Investing in good acoustics could reduce this time loss by 30 percent! This was shown in an experiment conducted by the progressive Stress Research Institute in Stockholm. Moreover, good acoustics reduce a great amount of stress. An acoustic study was performed in Infinity that has been implemented into practice. When choosing the doors, windows, utility transits, and technical installations, extra investments were made regarding acoustics.

 

  • Human Centric Lighting

Human Centric Lighting adjusts the lighting to the needs of the user to achieve a balanced ratio of daylight to artificial light. The colour temperature in the office is regulated between cold and warm light. Light has always regulated our biological clock since the beginning of time and our offices haven one of Human Centric Lighting’s most effective applications. It enhances concentration capacity, creativity, and performance. This is not only thanks to active light, but also to calming light.
