Q*for

Quality is an important concept for Encon. Encon has obtained the international Q*for recognition three times in a row. This three-yearly QFor audit examines the quality of Encon’s service to its customers. In order to obtain this recognition, at least 80% of customers must be satisfied with the service. After the last examination in 2010, it turned out that 100% of customers asked were satisfied with the general impression of Encon and 94% of customers asked were satisfied with the sub-aspects of the various subjects.

Encon is recognised by the European Commission as an endorser for two programmes: GREENLIGHT and MOTOR CHALLENGE

Greenlight

The European Commission wants to encourage energy savings. Light is one of the most visible forms of energy waste. Therefore the European Commission has taken the initiative with the Greenlight Programme to save energy on light, in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Companies and authorities that participate in this programme – known as ‘Greenlight Partners’ – demonstrate their environmental awareness by systematically applying and installing energy-efficient lighting in renovation and new construction projects. However, this only applies when the quality of the lighting is at least the same and providing it is profitable.

Motor Challenge Programme

The Motor Challenge Programme (MCP) is a European programme similar to the Greenlight Programme. Participating companies prepare an action plan detailing which energy-efficiency measures will be taken and how they will be implemented. The programme covers the following areas: compressed air, ventilation, cooling, pumps and motors in general. The objective of the Programme is:

  • to improve the operation and quality of the systems
  • to implement energy savings that are technically and economically feasible.
Companies that register for one of the programmes obtain various benefits:

  • 1. Your company is recognised by the European Commission as a company that takes energy consumption into account. This is positive for the image of your company.
  • 2. You receive an official logo for use by your company. This logo can also be used in your correspondence.
  • 3. Your company is included in a European database. Brochures and folders are regularly issued (in Europe), which is advertising for your company.
