The Motor Challenge Programme (MCP) is a European programme similar to the Greenlight Programme. Participating companies prepare an action plan detailing which energy-efficiency measures will be taken and how they will be implemented. The programme covers the following areas: compressed air, ventilation, cooling, pumps and motors in general.
The objective of the Programme is:
- to improve the operation and quality of the systems
- to implement energy savings that are technically and economically feasible.
Companies that register for one of the programmes obtain various benefits:
- 1. Your company is recognised by the European Commission as a company that takes energy consumption into account. This is positive for the image of your company.
- 2. You receive an official logo for use by your company. This logo can also be used in your correspondence.
- 3. Your company is included in a European database. Brochures and folders are regularly issued (in Europe), which is advertising for your company.
